Quantitative Engineer, Document AI and Extraction
Strong negotiation analysis depends on reliable facts. You build the systems that extract them and show where they came from.
At Infinity Loop, we build Negotiation Intelligence that connects contracts, proposals, supplier context and market data to help procurement teams identify leverage and develop commercial negotiation strategies. Reliable data and traceable evidence are central to the product we’re building.
Our customers send us piles of contracts. You own how those documents become trustworthy structured data. Benchmarking, analysis, and reporting all read from the fact store you build. Right now the focus is bulk extraction: total contract value, payment terms, rebates, and pricing line items, pulled from large document dumps, with every fact traced to its place in the source.
What would you build?
- Extraction at volume. Pull facts from raw document dumps at scale, with the source attached to every one.
- Data that lines up. Normalize vendors and entities, categorize spend, and attach market context.
- The right evidence for each fact. Build pricing extraction and the retrieval layer behind it.
- Tools the team builds on. Grow a reusable library for extraction and analysis.
- Fast human checks. Let a reviewer confirm an extraction without reading the whole contract.
Bring your strengths. You don’t need all of these.
We hire for real strength in one or more of these, and the ability to grow into the rest.
- Document AI: OCR, layout parsing, table extraction, or LLM extraction from messy real documents.
- Data and pipeline engineering that handles thousands of documents reliably, not just a notebook demo.
- Information retrieval or search: embeddings, ranking, RAG-style pipelines.
- A habit of measuring extraction quality instead of eyeballing it.
What we look for in everyone
We look for strong analytical thinking, careful execution and a willingness to learn across disciplines. You should be able to reason with data and uncertainty, explain your decisions, and take ownership of your work from an initial idea through implementation.
